Organizers have stated that registered participants will be allowed to enter the 2021 event, but will still be required to pay the 2021 entry fee and that 2020 entry fees will not be refunded. Organizers have said that the event t-shirt will be shipped to those who had purchased it after the event date. The men's race was odd... Geoffrey Kamworor, the 2017 champion and three-time podium finisher took the win in 2:08:13. Behind were relative uknowns, the runner-up spot went to Albert Korir, the 2017 Vienna and 2019 Ottawa Marathon champion, who ran 2:08:36. Third-place?!?!!! went to Girma Bekele Gebre from the subelite field who set a 4-1/2 minute persaonl best and most recent best finish was as runner-up at the 2019 Pittsburgh Marathon in 2:13:46. Among the American Men, Jared Ward again proved his strength and consistency in his 6th place/top American finish in 2:10:45. Abdi Abdirahman at 42 proved that he can still run well as second American and 9th overall in 2:11:34. And 23 year-old Connor McMillan (who???) ran an 8-minute PR to finish in 2:12:07 as third American and tenth overall.
